Terms of Service

Last updated: September 29, 2026

This is a founder-drafted starting point, not legal advice. Have a lawyer review before treating this as binding, especially before charging real money at scale or operating in multiple jurisdictions.

These Terms govern your use of Project Beta, a product of Hot Sales Ventures (“we,” “us”). By creating an account, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who this applies to

  • Community owners create an account and pay for a subscription plan (or use the Free plan).
  • Members are added to a community by an owner and use member-facing features (check-in, resources, their own dashboard) without needing to create a paid account.

2. Accounts

You're responsible for the accuracy of information you provide and for maintaining the security of your login credentials. You must be legally able to enter into these Terms to create an account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Project Beta to:

  • Store or transmit unlawful, harassing, or abusive content
  • Send unsolicited bulk messaging unrelated to your community
  • Attempt to access another community's workspace or data
  • Circumvent plan limits (member counts, automation counts, message quotas) through technical means

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

4. Subscription plans & billing

  • Plans and pricing are listed at getprojectbeta.com/#pricing and may change with notice.
  • Paid plans renew automatically each billing cycle unless canceled.
  • You can cancel anytime; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds or credits are issued for the unused portion of a billing period.
  • We reserve the right to enforce plan limits (members, automations, broadcasts, CIE requests) as described on the pricing page.

5. Payments to your community (dues, fees)

Project Beta is a record-keeping and optional payment-confirmation tool. We are not a party to any payment between you and your members, we do not hold funds, and we are not responsible for payment disputes between you and your members. If you connect your own Paystack account, that relationship and any fees are between you and Paystack.

6. Your content and data

You own the data you and your members put into Project Beta. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display it as needed to operate the product. You're responsible for having the right to collect and use any member data you enter.

7. Service availability

We aim for reliable uptime but don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We'll try to give notice of planned maintenance where practical.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Hot Sales Ventures is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of Project Beta, including disputes between you and your community members. A lawyer should tighten this section for your jurisdiction.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these Terms or the Acceptable Use section above, with notice where practical.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. A lawyer should confirm this is the right choice given an international user base, and whether a dispute-resolution venue/arbitration clause should be added.
